Internal Audit in small Organization
Obůrka, Miloš ; Toul, Jiří (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis was the elaboration of the literary recherché on the topic of internal auditing in small organization and draw the conclusions from such a search. The thesis contains the introduction of auditing process with focus on internal audits including specific diversities in auditing of small organization. Build up the survey of internal audit with the perspective on future auditing concept.
Effect of Conformity on Friction in Roller Bearing
Pisklák, Jan ; Zikmund, Vladimír (referee) ; Vrbka, Martin (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes the influence of conformity on friction in rolling bearings. The coefficient of friction is measured on an experimental machine - Mini Traction Machine 2 – using ball-on-disc method. The results are plotted in graphs which showing the dependence of the coefficient of friction at spin-to-roll ratio for specific conformity, normal load and speed in the contact area. The influence of load, speed or different lubricant viscosity is verified for a given value of conformity. Experimentally obtained data are compared with the mathematical model developed in MatLab, within this thesis.
Preparation of diagnostic laboratory for accreditation
Mačišáková, Kateřina ; Polsterová, Helena (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of accreditation of a diagnostic laboratory. It analyses theoretical knowledge in the field of accreditation, accreditation agency and its history. It contains a list and sample of documents required for accreditation and a description of the process. Part of the work is also a description of the requirements arising from the standard ČSN EN ISO / IEC 17025. The work briefly introduces the company whose laboratory is to be accredited. The following are the technologies the company uses and wants to accredit. The main part of this diploma thesis is the Quality manual, which was created with all needed attachments. This Quality manual is the most significant document, which is necessary for the process of accreditation.
The Optimal Accuracy of Measurement Assurance in Accordance with Metrological Confirmation
Frank, Petr ; Kocman, Karel (referee) ; Nenadál, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hruška, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of accuracy of measurement and achieving the required accuracy level. This includes global analysis of the uncertainty evaluation, the calibration interval design and the creation of confirmation system. Basis of this work is in identification of all possible problems, which may occur during evaluation of accuracy and achieving the required accuracy level. The analysis is followed by suggested solutions for identified problems. It means namely the selection of probability distribution in case of uncertainty type A, evaluation of degrees of freedom in case of uncertainty type B, nonlinear correlation of input values, evaluation of coverage factor, the choice of method for calibration interval design and the procedure for meeting all metrological confirmation requirements. The last part of the thesis is practical measurement and result evaluation in the field of surge protection devices. This chapter demonstrates conclusions from the syntactical part.
Certification conformably to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001
Poláčková, Kateřina ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis basic information about technical norm ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001. It describes basic requirements on activities, which shall ensure functionality and efficiency of quality management system and thereby reach consumer´s satisfaction. It provides information about particular requirements on company documents.
An equivalence between rational inattention problems and complete-information conformity games
Ilinov, Pavel ; Jann, Ole
We consider two types of models: (i) a rational inattention problem (as known from the literature) and (ii) a conformity game, in which fully informed players find it costly to deviate from average behavior. We show that these problems are equivalent to each other both from the perspective of the participant and the outside observer: Each individual faces identical trade-offs in both situations, and an observer would not be able to distinguish the two models from the choice data they generate. We also establish when individual behavior in the conformity game maximizes welfare.
Compliance techniques as type of conformity
Jarošová, Kateřina ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (advisor) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
This thesis deals with conformity and compliance, respectively compliance techniques. Thesis is composed as a theoretical paper and is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter I explain what is conformity, how it arises and what affects it. In the second chapter I deal with researches which relate to the conformity. I mention so-called classic study of conformity. I focused especially on new areas of researches of conformity. In the third part I deal with various compliance techniques. We distinguish four compliance technique in social psychology - foot-in-the-door technique, face-in-the-door technique, low-ball technique and that's-not-all technique. The final part consists of a research proposal that I focused on two of these techniques - foot-in-the-door and face-in-the-door technique.
Graffiti conformital non/conformity - possition of graffiti in art education teaching
Hübner, Petr ; Šmíd, Jan (advisor) ; Raudenský, Martin (referee)
Hübner, P.: Graffiti - Nonkonformní konformita aneb Role graffiti ve výuce výtvarné výchovy, [Diplomová práce] Praha 2013 - Univerzita Karlova, Pedagogická fakulta, Katedra výtvarné výchovy, 94 s. Abstract The diploma thesis independently follows on the author's bachelor thesis. It briefly describes the substance and the history of the graffiti phenomenon with the focus on current situation and local scene. Then, it points out less frequent questions and problems that are based on the substance of graffiti itself. The text tries to give important information and impulses to the teachers of art lessons, who often have misinterpreted and partly idealized idea of graffiti. The thesis also focuses on the state of current Prague street art that is on the decline at the moment. The text combines particular examples with consideration passages that deal with general topics like non/conformity, freedom, safety, creativity, ilussions, relationship to surroundings or private property. The research that was done among the teachers at lower and higher secondary schools is compared with the author's opinions, even by means of two dialogues with graffiti artists themselves. In the didactic part, the author summarizes possible conceptions of art lessons in connection with the graffiti topic that are supplemented with the...
Voluntary Abstinence in Connection with the Influence of Social Environment
Běhounková, Anežka ; Pospíšilová, Marie (advisor) ; Čížek, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of the thesis "Voluntary abstinence in connection with the influence of the social environment" is to study the motivations of late adolescents that lead to refuse alcohol consumption. The work is also focused on the perceived role of social environment in this type of abstinence. Background consists of texts relating to the conformity and the influence of social environment, research and statistics that demonstrate the atmosphere of the environment in which the volunteer drinkers live. The research is based on interviews with eight college students who were interviewed using semi-structured interview method. The interviews are focused on how informants perceived attitudes towards alcohol consumption in their family, among their peers and friends, as well on what impression they have of the society's attitude to alcohol. Part of the dialogue is also the voluntary abstainers' point of view on how the social environment reflects them. Last but not least are mentioned the reasons for abstinence. The analysis has revealed that respondents do not consider their family to have a direct influence on their abstinence. Family members do help to construct a structure of what can be considered as normal in the alcohol consumption. Consequently, the informants have very skeptical attitude towards...
